RICHMOND, Ind. — Centerville golfers Braden Tedder and Brady Moore were neck and neck all last week. It was a good week for a little friendly competition, as the Bulldogs had four matches, three more than any other Wayne County team.

The team got off to a hot start, defeating a shorthanded Union City squad Monday with a team score of 186. Tedder led the way with a 38, and Moore wasn’t far behind with a 42.

Centerville then placed second with New Castle and Tri Wednesday, shooting an overall score of 208. Once again, Tedder led the Bulldogs with a 42, and, once again, Moore was on his tail with a 44.

On Thursday, Centerville took a close loss to Union County 183-186. Almost just as close was the race between the Bulldogs’ top golfers. Tedder shot a 36, and Moore shot a 41.
