National Aptitude Test in Architecture, NATA 2022 will be conducted today for the second time. The NATA Test 2 has been scheduled for today, July 7, 2022 and will be conducted by the Council of Architecture for students who wish to apply for 5-year UG architecture courses. NATA 2022 Admit Card was released online for candidates on the official website – nata.in on July 4, 2022. Students can download their NATA Admit Card by entering their registration ID and password to login and download it from the candidate portal. The direct link has been shared below for reference.

NATA is an entrance exam which is conducted for admissions into 5-year undergraduate courses for Architecture in various institutions across India. For admissions into CFTI’s for architecture, students appear for the JEE Main exam, for which the result is expected to be declared soon.

This year COA has decided to conducted the NATA exam three times, giving students three attempts at the architecture entrance exam. The exam today would be the second attempt for students.

NATA 2022 will be conducted in two shifts – the morning shift from 10 AM to 1 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A total of 125 questions will be given to students for a total of 200 marks. NATA exam will be conducted in CBT mode.

NATA exam would assess the skills of the candidates in areas such as drawing, observation, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking and other fields related to architecture. Candidates can read below to know a few exam day guidelines to keep in mind for the exam today.

NATA 2022: Important exam day guidelines

  1. Candidates are advised to carry their admit card with them. Without the admit card, entry into the exam hall would be denied.
  2. Carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driver’s License – for proof.
  3. Rough sheets, writing material and other tools will be provided to the candidates during the exam. However, candidates are advised to bring their own geometry boxes.
  4. Devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, slide rules, log tables, electronic watches are banned inside the exam hall
  5. Candidates are also advised to follow the COVID-19 regulations in place at the exam hall.
  6. Wear your face mask in and outside the exam hall. Maintain social distancing and carry your own hand sanitiser.
