Looking to cover up some of the cracks the League of Legends 12.10 Durability Update, LoL 12.11 continued with some important balance changes while also introducing the new champion Bel’Veth.
LoL 12.11 affected 30 champions, a significant number of items, and more. It seems that Riot didn’t completely hit the mark with some of these changes, however, and the new LoL 12.11b hotfix update is here to fix it.

LoL 12.11b Hotfix Update targets Kog’Maw, Olaf, Ryze, & Zeri
The 12.11 hotfix affected four champions in total, Kog’maw, Ryze, Olaf, and Zeri.
Kog’Maw and Ryze saw some buffs to up their win rates and playability. The former of the two had been nerfed in the 12.11 patch as thanks to the Durability Update he became too much of a menace in the bot lane. The latter, on the other hand, was struggling to find his groove prior to 12.11 and although he received buffs in the update, they weren’t enough.
On the flip side, Olaf and Zeri saw some nerfs in order to be brought down a peg in the Rift. Olaf has been a terrorizer in the top lane ever since his latest rework so Riot is looking to finally put a stop to it. While Zeri received some nerfs following her LoL 12.11 adjustments that gave her damage at the cost of the utility. This was mainly in part to the marksman becoming a bit too strong as she went from a 45.25% win rate to 51.51% with the change.

E – Spell Flux
- Damage: 60/85/110/135/160 (+35% AP)(+2% bonus mana) ⇒ 60/90/120/150/180 (+45% AP)(+2% bonus mana)
Q – Burst Fire
- Active damage: 8-20 (+110-130% tAD) ⇒ 8-20 (+105-125% tAD)
- Passive charged attack damage: 90-200 (+80% AP) + 3-15% max health ⇒ 90-200 (+80% AP) + 1-15% max health
E – Spark Surge
