A person was attacked late Friday night in Boston during a Copley Square watch party for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.Video shows that a man was brought down to the ground and pummeled by multiple people behind the big screen set up in Copley Square.A Boston police officer showed up to the scene and NewsCenter 5’s Sera Congi saw the victim walking away with the officer.It is not clear if any arrests were made in connection with that attack.Hundreds of people gathered in Copley Square for the free watch party, which was hosted by the city of Boston.There was a lot of positivity for most of the game, but things changed when the Celtics struggled to score late in the fourth quarter in what ended up being a loss.Congi said there was a police presence in Copley Square after the watch party ended.Boston police did say that one man was arrested outside TD Garden after Game 4 in connection with another incident.At about 11:40 p.m., an officer who was directing traffic was told by a passerby about a fight happening in the area of of 100 Legends Way.That officer went to break up the fight and a man, identified as 26-year-old Andrew Noll, of Lowell, ripped off his traffic vest, according to police.Noll has been charged with one count of assault and battery on a police officer and one count of interfering with a police officer.
