Since there isn’t anymore a MicroSD slot and internal space with 128 could be tricky to update šŸ˜›

This update arrived like a week ago in Bulgaria and I guess world wide. It did not say any of this camera stuff it was advertised as simple June security update.

This is a great news. I am very disappointed with the camera performance of S22 Ultra which apply too much contrast and sharpness that make the pictures look very artificial.

I think Google will be able to do that once they have all their phones powered by Google designed tensor CPU. Now they still have pixel phones with Snapdragon CPU as well. IMO

Since when virtual data stored on phone disk cost weight???

Update can have even 17GB still will not make phone heavier but good joke.

This must be very useful because we have dogs

I’m talking for when you manually check for an update. They still do seeded automatic release, but if you want to have the update this moment, you can check manually and it’ll always show up, like for every single update, be it a hotfix or major update. You can check for updates all you want with basically all Android phones and it just won’t even show up. This is what really annoys me. I usually don’t like to wait to get “seeded”, I want it on release. Be it Windows, Android or iOS. If company “releases” something, I expect to get it this moment if I want to do so. If I don’t care, I’d just wait for automatic update to do its thing whenever.

Imagine you have a 1500ā‚¬ phone (S22 Ultra) and they’re like “you’ll get the update eventually in whatever region you live in”. Not exactly reassuring. As much as I like Samsung’s long term dedication for software updates, this part is still really bad. Especially since Samsung isn’t some noname startup company with lacking resources…

Update seeding in South Korea, the rest will get it “soon” (TM). Might be this week, might be next month, no one ever knows with this silly “seeding” done by any Android phone maker.

Did this update provide better battery optimizations or ?

Galaxy S22 Ultra is only 3 months old not a year šŸ¤£ So it is normal to still get camera improvements
